For students holding Mainland Chinese travel documents, you should apply for an "Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao" (EEP, 往來港澳通行證) and a relevant exit endorsement from the Public Security Bureau office where your household registration is kept (戶口所在地或居住地市級公安機關出入境辦證大廳所辦理的簽注).
